The MA5811S-AE08 is one of the most compact medium-capacity small form factor sealed unit (SFF-SU) outdoor multi-service access products launched by Huawei to support integrated broadband access.
The MA5811S-AE08 is an integrated device that features small size and easy deployment.
The MA5811S-AE08 with an IP protection level of IP55 can be installed on a pole or mounted to a concrete wall. The MA5811S-AE08 is temperature-hardened and waterproof. Therefore, it can work normally in harsh outdoor environments.
In the upstream direction, the MA5811S-AE08 connects to the IP network using GPON/XG-PON/GE/10GE optical ports. In the downstream direction, the MA5811S-AE08 provides the access service for G.fast users.
The SmartAX MA5811S-AE08 provides these product features:
Broadband Rate Increasing Using Vectoring
G.fast uses the time division duplex (TDD) technology to reduce radiation interference and energy loss. By working with vectoring, G.fast enables the MA5811S-AE08 to provide a high access rate rivaling even that of optical fibers. It uses existing copper lines to rapidly deploy services and turn investments into returns.
Reverse Power Supply
When transmitting data signals to terminals, the MA5811S-AE08 obtains power from the terminals through the cables connected to G.fast ports on the basis of without changing G.fast cable routing.
