Overview

The H802EDTB board provides 16-channel TDM SHDSL access services and 16-channel E1 and V.35 access services. It supports E1 services over SHDSL lines and achieves transparent transmission and convergence for services from E1 ports to SHDSL ports.

G.SHDSL (supporting PBX in a long distance) or E1 access

Upstream through VoIP with the support of H.248+IUA or SIP

Inherits original ISDN services

H802EDTB provides these external interfaces:

16-channel SHDSL port:

- G.991.2 Annex A and Annex F (Standards applicable for North America)

- G.991.2 Annex B and Annex G (Standards applicable for European)

16-channel E1 port:

- G.703 (Physical/electrical characteristics of hierarchical digital interfaces)

- G.704 (Synchronous frame structures used at 1544, 6312, 2048, 8448 and 44 736 kbit/s hierarchical levels)

- G.706 (Frame alignment and cyclic redundancy check (CRC) procedures relating to basic frame structures defined in recommendation G.704)

- G.961 (Digital transmission system on metallic local lines for ISDN basic rate access)
